Easter

So, this year we stayed in Pullman. The kids had to search for their Easter baskets that morning and we had an Easter egg hunt with some friends. We dyed some eggs, which wasn't as fun as I was thinking it was going to be. We'll see if we do that again next year. Pretty normal weekend for us.

Eight and a half months

Beckham is almost nine months, which is kinda crazy. He has been crawling for a month and he claps, waves, climbs on everything, and raises his hands above his head for up and yay. He is a total momma's boy and shows it by resting his head on my shoulder any time I pick him up. He is the most needy out of all of the kids when they were this age. I find him standing up in his crib whenever I go to get him from nap or bedtime. He has to be attached to me at all times or he freaks out. He will be walking soon, which I think I will like. He loves to be outside and laughs really hard when the kids play with him. He has six teeth and is currently getting some more. He is still a chunk and has many rolls. I just love my chubby baby!

Hayden is 3!

Hayden turned three on the first. My parents came up for the weekend, so we were able to do some fun things with them. I made a cake for both of their birthdays, which tasted really good, but did not look so pretty. Thanks Brittney for your butter cream recipe and pans!

Hayden, Hayden, Hayden......I don't have words to tell you how I feel. You are the SWEETEST kid. You are so gentle with Beckham and love being his big brother. You are HILARIOUS and make me bust a gut everyday with your witty comments. You love playing with Ellie and other kids. You are a scardy cat, but I think it is the cutest thing. You would think for your size you wouldn't mind plowing kids over for the toy you want, but you don't. You don't want to hurt anybody. You don't like to see people being sad or crying and you like to give hugs when they are. You go with the flow, which is good. You balance out Ellie who is the leader and task master. You have the loudest voice ever for a little kid. I can never be mad at you because of your cute faces and concern for others. Love you Hayden.

Spring Decor

Here are a couple of my Spring decorating projects that I have done. For the peep wreath every store only had two colors! How lame. Next year I might have to travel farther and earlier to do this project. It's cute and fun, but I would have liked more colors in it and I will have to glue them on there differently. Kinda chaotic.

The pom poms are made out of tissue paper and there are tons of tutorials online on how to make them. They were really easy. They together took maybe five minutes to make if even that long.

Ellie is 4!

Ellie's fourth birthday was the 27th! It's kinda crazy to think that I have a four year old and that she will be in kindergarten next year. She loves preschool and riding the bus. She does so well in school and her teachers love her. Ellie is friends with everybody and makes everyone feel included. She loves to help at school and and at home with Beckham. She is the little mommy and has to be told to quit smothering kids and Beckham. She is sassy, opinionated, active, loving, and stubborn. She loves playing with kids and is not afraid to make new friends. She likes to try new things and is always up for some fun adventure. She likes to read and can memorize stories like no ones business. She loves doing projects and crafts and making things for friends and family. She is a joy to have around and I feel blessed to have her in our family. We butt heads most of the time because she thinks she is the boss, but I love that she is my mini me.
