Two Months

Beckham had his two month check up last week and he is huge! He is 15lbs and 23 1/2 inches long. He has been sleeping through the night since a month old! It has been fabulous! He is very easy going and loves to smile and talk already. He is a TOTAL momma's boy, which I think is sweet. Here are some pictures of my cute boy! (sorry my camera is crap!)

Halloween Race

So, a group of friends and I drove down to Lewiston, Id to run a 4.5 mile race. It was a lot of fun and we had a great time. We had decorated shirts so everybody would know we were in the same group. We did amazing and I'm so proud of everybody!

Rudolph

This morning Hayden decided to take a nose dive into our bench five minutes before we were to leave for church. Needless to say, we didn't make it to church and went to the hospital instead. It is not broken, but they want us to follow up with our pediatrician in a few days. They also told us that he might get black eyes as well because he hit it really hard. More pictures may be coming if he does get black eyes.

Fire Station

We have ward playgroups every Friday. Most of the time we just meet in our church nursery, but every so often we go somewhere for the kids. Friday we got to go to the fire station. The kids had a lot of fun. The firefighters were a little overwhelmed because there were over 30 kids there and it was a smaller station.

Blessing

Beckham was blessed last Sunday. It was great to see family and visit with everybody.

Beckham Boy

Beckham is so cute and cuddly. I couldn't do new posts without adding a picture or two of him. He started sleeping through the night about two weeks ago. Earlier than the other two by about three weeks. I think he is an easier baby than the other two and they were easygoing babies. Nursing is WAY easier with him than the others were and I should make it way longer than six weeks. He is almost two months already! It seems longer than that, but then not at the same time.

Running

So, I have started running. I go with three other ladies (who happen to be in our ward) at 6:30 in the morning. Now those of you that know me know that I'm NOT a morning person and don't like being cold and am always cold for that matter. Today was day two and we ran 2.5 miles yesterday and 2 miles today. My whole body is sore and today was harder than yesterday because of all the sore muscles. I hope I can get my endurance up fast because we are running a 4.5 mile race on the 30th. We'll see how it goes. Pullman is hilly, so I'm getting more conditioning because the race is flat and at a lower elevation. Let's hope I don't die.

Apple Orchard

Ellie's preschool class had a field trip yesterday. They went to the organic apple orchard and got to pick some apples. Hayden and I tagged along and took some pictures and got some apples. You have to know though that the orchard sits at he top of a hill, so you have to hike up it to get to the apples. Well, I wasn't thinking straight because I have the baby in his car seat, instead of the wrap and have too many layers on for hiking. Halfway up the hill Hayden wants me to carry him and I'm dripping in sweat. Needless to say we got a couple pictures and then left, so I could take a nap and shower.

Pumpkin Carving

We went to the Pumpkin Patch a couple weeks ago and got some pumpkins and last week we decided to carve them. The kids had fun. Ellie didn't like sticking her hand in the pumpkin to clean it out, so she got a spoon. Hayden dug in with his hands and a spoon. There were seeds everywhere! They had fun, but Chad was trying not to freak out over the mess they were making. I told him that carving pumpkins is always messy and that I would worry about the clean up.

Smile

Beckham has been smiling for a while, but we have never been able to take a picture of him. We finally got one! It is the cutest thing. Enjoy!

Ninjas

So the kids have been ninjas lately. It's pretty funny. Ellie always does this spin and punch thing when she goes to attack you. Hayden just does whatever. It has been cold and rainy here, so we have been getting creative with our inside games.

One Month

Beckham turned a month old on the 29th. It's crazy that he is that old already. Time really does fly by. He is a very sweet boy. He loves cuddling and getting kisses from Ellie and Hayden. He smiled for the first time last week. It is soo cute when he smiles because he doesn't have any teeth. He is almost 12 pounds! He is in the 95th percentile for height and weight. Big Boy!

The kids adore him and love smothering him and trying to pick him up. They have adjusted really well to having a little brother.

Things are going really well here and we are enjoying our crazy life. (pictures to come later)

Preschool

Ellie started preschool on the 7th. She Loves it! She even gets to ride the bus. She has lots of friends from church in her class, so she knows lots of kids. I also enjoy the quiet time with my boys! Here are some pictures of Ellie and Ava. They ride the bus together and are in the same Sunbeams class. They even have matching backpacks! Max and Austin are also in her class and the ward. Miss Kelly is her teacher and she enjoys going to school.

He's Here!

Beckham Campbell Robbins was born August 29th at 6:38am. I had to have an emergency c-section because his heart rate kept dropping after contractions and wasn't getting enough oxygen. I think it was for the best because he was 10lbs 2oz and 20.5 in. His legs were also tangled in the cord and his head was sideways. That's why it had taken him so long to move down. He is NOT rolly at all! He is long and lean and has skinny legs and arms. I am glad he is here and the kids LOVE him! I am healing well and actually think the recovery for a c-section is way easier than delivering vaginally. We love our new addition and think he is a keeper.

39 Weeks!

I was hoping I wouldn't get this far, but I have to go to 40 weeks ad hopefully this baby will be ready to come out. I had my appointment today hoping I could be induced on Friday. No such luck. The baby is head down, but not low enough to start thinning me out. If the doctor induced me it would increase my risk of a c- section and he knows I can have this 10 1/2 lb baby vaginally with no problems, so he didn't want to do that. He also doesn't want me to have to have a 10 1/2 lb baby, but there's nothing he can do at this point. If the baby hasn't moved down by next week then I will have an ultrasound to see why he hasn't moved and go from there.

Here is a picture of my belly. I have gained 55 lbs with this baby so far. Surprised? Most people are too. Still no stretch marks. Hate me yet? Most women do.

Water Fun!

The kids LOVE the water, except if it's in a pool. They love the hose and anything else they can play with. Every night they ask if we can turn on the sprinkler or turn on the hose. One night we pulled out this little raft and they had a blast jumping and laying in it. Such Hams!

Entry Table/desk

So, as promised I found the cord to my camera and have an after picture of the table/desk that I repainted. I got this for $10 at a yard sale and I love it. Right now it's in our entry way so that we can put mail and things like that on it. I love the color. It's bright and makes me happy. :)

Summer Projects

It has been a while, I know. Lots has been happening and nothing has been happening at the same time. I won't bore all of you with a huge post with lots of pictures, so I will make this post about one of the things that I have been up to.

We moved into a four bedroom apartment and I have been painting furniture and sewing and figuring out decor for all of the rooms. I started with this entry table/desk. I only have the before picture on this computer and the after pictures are on another computer. I guess when I get the after pictures on the computer I will tell the story and all that.

We are still alive and kicking. I am now 34 weeks and will post a belly picture when I get around to it.

Haircuts!

Ellie and Hayden had their first professional haircut. They did a really good job and they both look adorable. I like Hayden's hair short and not shaggy, but Chad likes it long. Ellie's hair is much more manageable and doesn't get matted like it use to. They got suckers while they were getting their hair cut so they would sit still. Hayden got five suckers during his haircut. He would finish one and then ask for another one. Silly boy! We have gotten comments that Ellie looks like Shirley Temple. She is a cutie! I don't think I have pictures of their finished haircuts, so I will get those.

Big kids

The kids had their birthdays and they are now three and two. Crazy crazy! We made rainbow cupcakes and watched movies and had fun. Both sets of grandparents sent presents and my parents came to visit that weekend. We went to the McDonald's playground and let them run around and had ice cream. They are both getting so big and are so smart. They surprise me everyday. I will do an individual post on each child later and let everyone know what's new with them.

Fabric Flower Headbands

So, I have been doing some crafting lately. I'm making some things for the kids birthdays. I found this tutorial on somewhat simple. These were so easy and very cute. I will be making some more with thinner headbands. Enjoy!

Huh?

Ellie has started making this funny face when she says "huh". She also loves to wear her dresses and princess shoes around the house. :)

Hams!

The kids have been lots of fun lately. They do lots of silly things and luckily Chad grabbed the camera. They dressed up like this and were walking around the apartment holding hands and talking to each other. Ellie turns three on the 27th! Hayden turns two four days later. I will probably do a combined party, since they are still young. As they get older I will most likely be putting on two parties, so combined is good for now.

Birthday and Baby News!

So, yesterday was my birthday. I turned 23 and for my birthday we got to find out what we are having! So, we are having a BOY! We are both very excited and looking forward to our new addition. Hayden is such a sweet boy, so we hope this one will be the same.

We will be doing something this weekend for my birthday. Probably just dinner and a movie or some shopping.

Spring Break!

Chad's spring break started yesterday, so of course we are in Othello visiting family and then heading to Portland to look at apartments, visit the college, and hanging out with Dustin and Heather. Today my parents offered to watch the kids for us while we could do whatever we wanted for the day! Exciting! Well, the kids were up THREE times last night, which never happens. (my kids have been sleeping through the night since they were two months old) We thought that they were adjusting to being away from home. Well, after we dropped the kids off and went back to the house to have a nap we got a call and Ellie has a fever and is not doing very well. :( So, Chad will be going to Portland by himself and we will be stuck inside for the break. Hayden hasn't shown any symptoms, but they will be coming in a couple of days. So, here is to our fun, relaxing spring break with sick, snotty kids. :(

A Little Behind....

So, it has been a while since I have posted anything. Let's see, what have we been up too.... Chad is trying to figure out where he wants to go to grad school. Eastern or Portland. He is leaning more toward Portland because they have a Marriage and Family masters program, rather than the basic Psychology masters at Eastern. We will see though.

The kids are getting big. Ellie starts preschool in the fall. Crazy! Their birthdays are coming up and I want to decorate and have fun games for them to do since they are older. I'll let you know what I come up with.

I am just doing the mom thing. I have started couponing and I love it! I have started seeing results the past couple shopping trips that I have made, so I know my hard work is paying off.

Also, I'm PREGNANT! Yup, baby #3 is due in August. I'm 15 weeks and feel like I'm 25 weeks. It's crazy. No morning sickness, which is a blessing, but my back is already hurting and I will probably start physical therapy soon. I didn't have physical therapy with Hayden until 7 or 8 months because of my back. Things are definitely happening faster, but it seems to be going really slow. Anyways, that's what has been happening with us. Hope all is well with you guys!

Photo Of The Day!

So, I have seen some people post a photo of the day to help them be more in the moment with their kids or just to journal and whatnot for resolutions. Well, one of my goals is to have more fun with the kids and not be so worried about messes. So, one thing I have started is making smoothies. I don't do it everyday because it would be a lot of work to clean up, but the kids love them and are always excited when I start making them. I got a picture of Hayden today and thought it was pretty cute! I'm not going to be posting a picture everyday, but hopefully I will think to pull out the camera when they do funny things. Enjoy!
